Unfortunately some people who post scenes here on Algobox use the Algodoo built-in browser which is very limited. They would have much more control of their scenes if they instead were to use a standard browser like Chrome, FireFox, or any of the other common Internet browsers.
You don't need to be so insulting, Algodooper. If you see something that you feel is inaccurate or confusing, tell the person in a kind and polite manner. Aggressive or hateful words could get you banned from the Algodoo website if it continues.
I noticed that too while editing the scene but I have no idea what causes that. Maybe there's a junk object hiding in that section of the Algodoo world but I don't know how to find it short of digging into the phz file.
Any ideas?
UPDATE: I FOUND IT! I found an invisible polygon in some far off distant galaxy about a trillion light-years from Algodoo's origin coordinates. I deleted that little devil, and now that issue you brought to my attention no longer exists. Yay!
If WW3 breaks out with nuclear weapons, there will be no victory. There will only be losers. The entire human race will be nothing but a chapter in some Alien civilization's history text book.
In order for this device to work, isn't it dependent on the force/displacement curve of each spring? I assume that the curve needs to be linear over the normal operating range of the springs. Am I wrong?
BTW - 2 thumbs up on the overall quality of the scene.
Ummmm.... I was wondering how you know that this thing spins forever. Are you going to be here, say a million years from now, to check on it to make sure that it's still spinning?
JP -- How did you find it? I did a search for user 1 and nothing came up. Could you click on that user name and then copy the url link and send it to me here in comments? Or if that user posted any scenes you can send me a link to one of them. I'm curious who that might be! Thanks
