TheInventor - Thanks for your compliment and for the game idea! I just might see if I can make that happen. I may need to bounce some ideas off you, so I may contact you through the PM messaging system in the Forum.
Sorry but it looks fakey. Your Raptor looks MUCH better, and you did a great job on it. Unfortunately, your Raptor scene does not allow comments and ratings.
If you can make this Stegosaurus move and walk like your Raptor, then I'm sure that people would give you high ratings on it! I know that I would!
This looks fakey just like your Stegosaurus. If you can make it move and act like your Raptor, then you would get high ratings on it! You did a great job on the Raptor!
Very good! It looks great and movement is realistic. The only thing that I changed on my copy is I stopped the annoying head bobbing! I did that by deleting the spring attached to his head, and I glued his neck to the other large structure that supports it. Now the head bobs only slightly and is not annoying any more!
In your description of the scene it says to use keys X and Z to select which ball to move, but in the scene, you must use keys number 1 and number 2 to select the balls! OOPS!
Overall, nice job! I only found one small bug, and that's when the car is moving fast, and then I press the down arrow key to stop it, some of the red "power balls" (or whatever they are called) come spitting out of the engine and land on the ground. Not a big deal, but I thought you would want to know about it.
1. Why call it a "touch" computer? You click on things with the mouse, you do not touch with your finger!
2. The text that says [click here to start] is not lined up with the active area that senses the cursor and mouse click. The text is too low (or the active area is too high).
Except for those two things (so far) it's a good idea for a scene!
1. You may call it anything you want to, but no matter what you call it, it still is NOT a touch screen. A touch screen is activated with a FINGER not a mouse click.
2. The text says [click here to start]. When I click on the text, nothing happens. It's only when I click ABOVE the text, something happens. I checked it 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times!!
If I had a dollar for each time someone said "Have Phun" in their scenes, I'd be a gazillionairre!
By the way, there's a slight problem in your scene. When the ball gets to the "gravity OFF" square, it misses the "gravity ON" square and then it just floats off into deep space. Except for that, the scene is interesting. Nice work, and have Phun.... um.... er...... never mind!
We must be on the same psychic frequency because I've been thinking about doing suggestion #1 before you posted it.
Concerning suggestion #2, I just may do that because I've also been thinking about a few other improvements, and as long as I'll be digging into the code, I might as well try that one too.
I also want to improve the time set sliders because I don't like how they work. They are too imprecise and unstable.
I'll try to have all of those mods done over the next day or two. A few of my wife's family are joining us for the 4th, so that will be a minor inconvenience until I can get back to doing something important like creating Algodoo scenes!
This is a really unique and interesting helmet. I realize that this is a WIP, but I'd like to suggest that you make all of those support boxes and polygons transparent so that they cannot be seen. The helmet will look much nicer that way.
