CeltMan - If you obey the rules, then there's no reason why your scenes would get deleted. Many kids who get warned or banned are the ones who don't bother to read the rules.
Children always use the excuse, "I was grounded for NO REASON!". Well, there always is a reason why children get into trouble. They just think it was for no reason because they don't understand what they did wrong, or they can't believe that they did anything wrong. But, contrary to what kids say, there always is a reason why they get into trouble!
Anyhow, your account named ThePoisonMan1 is now unbanned. The reason why it was banned in the first place is because you registered more than one user account. But that has been taken care of now.
Beyond Infinity -- Did you even read my previous comment? I'll summarize it here just in case you missed it. "The company, Algoryx, has no plans to update Algodoo." Was that clear and understandable enough for you?
What are the odds of a snail slug accidentally designing a high efficiency nuclear power plant here on Algodoo while rolling around on my keyboard after Elvis Presley came back to life and started poking the snail slug with his guitar pick between his teeth?
Question: "But why? why cant results be shown in the scene itself?"
Answer: Because that goes against the original intent for this website. As I've said a thousand times over the past 8 years, Algobox is not a game. It was only intended to post dynamic scenes made with Algodoo that people can share with each other. PERIOD.
Quote: "Clearly you disallow comments on your new rules scene because you dont want people to ask questions"
Answer: NO. Clearly you are wrong. I had to disallow comments because many people were not asking questions but rather were making stupid remarks and posting long strings of smiley faces and other sorts of nonsense. I simply got tired of kids being kids, and so I had to disallow comments. They ruined it for themselves.
UnityDogGaming04 -- Thanks for the report, but did you happen to notice the dates on his scenes? His newest one was posted back in 2018. I agree that he has posted mostly announcements and signups, but, because of how long ago they were posted, very few if any people would look at them. I'm sure that there are hundreds and maybe even thousands of similar scenes in the Algobox archive, but I'm not going to spend many hours or many days going through them and deleting them. I'm only concerned about recent scenes that were posted within the past few weeks.
By the way, next time you want to report someone breaking the rules, please use the REPORT link associated with the scene or with the particular comment. That way you can report people privately without everyone else reading about it!
Yeah, I vaguely remember you. I looked through some of your old scenes, and I recall the messages that you wrote to me in scenes. That's not allowed any more. In fact, quite a few rules have changed since you used to hang around here on Algobox. I'm still here, as are a few other adults and older teens. But the number of older folk is way down from the way it was back in the old days (2009 to about 2012). Now about 90 percent of the users are children, and they still mostly post marble races, Algicosathlons, and "camps" (whatever the heck they are). So, my roll now is pretty much a baby sitter.
If you plan on posting any scenes, I highly recommend that you read the Rules page first. It might save you from getting banned.
If a person gets banned for something they don't know about, it's because they did not read the rules before posting scenes. No one gets banned "accidentally" because there is always a reason why they got banned, and it's almost always because they either did not read the rules, or they read the rules but for some reason they do not understand them. And then there's the few people who have read the rules, and they understand them, but they have the attitude that the rules don't apply to them. Those are the ones who usually get banned permanently.
s_noonan -- Wow, thanks for the kudos! Yes, I understand completely that self-praise is no recommendation. We see and hear that sort of thing from the POTUS virtually every day. But in my case, anyone is welcome to confirm or rebut my claim by comparing my scene to the tornado scenes that are in the Algobox archive.
ThingExtreme - No, the scene was made by ME. I took some ideas and a few images from a scene in the Algodoo archive, but nothing was simply copied and pasted. Also, you won't find any other tornado scene that includes rain and lightning. Oh, by the way, user CoolAlgodooModel1337 wrote in his scene description "take it if you want", and so he gave permission to anyone who wanted to use parts of his scene in their own scene. Nice try, though!
In Da Motion - Yes, it is Kansas. In fact, if you carefully look through that funnel cloud, you might find Dorothy and Toto who tried to hitch a ride home to their farmhouse.
