(i havnt downrated)

Make sure that when you save the scene you have the camera centered on the car, so that when you upload it here we can see it in the little screenshot
good, simple design
the only drawback is that instead of pressing a button once to change, it has to be held, so it works more like pressing the gas harder
unfortunately, my reseach suggested that this truck would have a 10 speed transmission :x and that scared me off from doing that. :P

should i do mechanical gearbox to combo with an alternative engine or just do scripts? (my 68 charger will have scripts)

and i will face it, i am not a good engine maker... perhaps i will try later, but it will certainly be on a 4 or 6 wheel drive rather than 8.
@ dare - the front? that one as well as the back are both correct i think

@ cellars - yeah i know, but at least what is on there is good

@ kilinich - thanks for the good feedback

@ matawin - this isnt the offroad adventure! this is the warmup/practice!!!
Good solution to the string
this is a good working example, but it somewhat lacks visual things
i dont have algodoo, but this looks like it would work well

take a look at my LTM 1200, since you seem to like cranes
fast
it is pretty beast
but my only suggestion is to not have the entire thing nearly the same color.
i like that it has so many peices, but think in terms of shading as well
(ex: wheels should be a bit darker)

still 9.98748/10 (had to subtract 0.1252 for the lack of color differencial)
my ktm likes 10's too :P
ahh, the sleek body design reminds me much of the first thing i ever made (a truck) except, i had sense to use hinges
maybe you should give it wheels....
then you will have your most detailed car! LOL

looks nice, but it would be better to overlay smaller peices instead of cutting a box
good, good
one more layer of shading to the turret and it is about as perfect as a tank can be in algodoo
2nd pimp contest in a day
geez, so much work for me
i like it!
though, some of the controls are backwards
the point of pimped is to be overly flashy...
i like some tuners, but the thing i hate is when people ruin classic cars.

maxis111?
arent they a bit white?
because you know that he is not going to change them at all
so it doesnt look like crap, that way people may look at it
does not respond? no idea what you are talking about

over all it does look good, with only a few gaps in peices here and there
the shadings are actually good and reflect the shape of the vehicle (finally...)

for me though, it drops like a lead weight when it goes off what should be a jump

anyways, it is very good for you so keep it up
8/10 for the little things like wheels and mirror not being as pretty and the little gaps. still not bad
personally i would use:
scene.addcircle({ pos := e.pos; color := [0.6,0,0,.7]; radius := 0.12; collideset := 5; drawcake := false; zdepth = 6 })

this example is what you would need, since your script included things that were already default

i am uploading a spawn engine soon, so you may want to take a look at that. also i have gas run version of a four stroke you may want to see.
i cant give you my license officer

why not?

BECAUSE YOU ARE HEADCRAB ZOMBIE!!11!
kinda funny, it seems like it is super complex and such, while it is actually very simple

i would rather something too overcomplicated ;)
isnt that a bit too complicated for the task at hand...
uh, i have done some scripting before, for things like my lift truck and LTM 1200, as well as, auto deploy rollbar and speed activated suspension

but anyways, i was going to use it for a mechanically driven 4 speed vehicle, and it turned out the engine was the best i had ever made but it didnt perform at high speeds of the vehicle.
I was actually really suprised on how well it worked...

So i am looking for an application of it that doesnt require fast movement from the vehicle itself. So you can still look forward to that!
actually, it is a bit easier to make a powerful spring engine in algodoo because of its springs being a bit stronger.

none the less, if your 50 kg truck can pull 5000 kg that is impressive
unfortunately i only have phun, but i will guess this works well

BTW: your 1000kg only weighs about 300kg
looks pretty good, but i would suggest moving away from having borders

and work on how your car drives, try putting the back wheel friction to 10 and note that it looks like a drag racer... Just try not to make the wheels spin or anything
looks awesome!
too bad it doesnt work in phun
DA DA DA DAAAAA!
sheepborg to the potential rescue!

ok, according to the info, it weighs 1200 kgs... (that is less than a de tomaso pantera!) and the wheels only weigh, well not too much

in order to make this work you MUST make the suspnesion components heavier

List of things you must do for proper function:
*truck softwheel density = 37 to 40
* trailer softwheel density = 35 to 37
* make the trailor not have drive
* truck suspension arms density = 1000
* truck pivot things that are connected to the suspension density = 100
* trailor pivot thing connected to the suspension density = 14

after doing all of this it should work as close to perfect as possible
hope this helps. (it DOES work i used all these to test) you owe me ;)
where does it say cylandar?
read fail? ...
as in dont do "draw borders"
or some amazingly overcomplicated mechanical system
