OK this is going to get hard to explane
if you look at this older version of my b58 the wings are clearly shown
http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details.php?id=49739
the main wing is the front fixed one and should have a LOT more lifting force than
the rear moveable pitch controll wing, its job is to controll the angle of attack of the
main wing, the main wing is suposed to do most of the lifting of the plane
if you notice in that scene the plane is suspended by a spring close to the ballance point there is a big fixtate on the nose that can be deleted to test and adjust the ballance THIS IS CRITICAL
Most planes ballance between 25 and 33% of the wing Chord
for what we are doing you need the plane to ballance just aft of the center of the K wing and just ahead of the main wheels
If that still doesnt make any sense I will try and break it down further
PS I used the old style K wings in mine because I could actualy figgure out how to tune them
what you need to do to make it realistic is reduce the power of the rear wing so its
not realy trying to lift the plane just change the angle of the main wing
the weight of the plane should be close to ballanced on the main wing, slightly forward is better for stability
you MAY have to increase the power of the main wing or change the angle slightly
Its a real rewarding challenge to get it all working realisticly
I know my plane is far from perfect but its not realy done either
PS in my current plane there is lots of stuff moved and changed that was just an example of how to do the ballancing see it just gets more fun
LOL
