You show a bunch of rules in the game but you did not explain how to play the game! In other words, what keys must be pressed in order to move the player piece?
You know how to play the game but no one else does! And so you have to explain how to play it because no one can read your mind!
Do you know of any other scenes in the archives that use lasers to simulate lava flow? I've never seen it, and I don't know how that could possibly look realistic, but I'm open to suggestions if you have experience doing such a thing.
Bloon104 - Your comment is not helpful at all to anyone. I would rather that you give some feedback about this scene instead of telling everyone how you suck at basketball. No one cares, really.
*facepalm* kornsuwin - Why must I fix it? Is it broken? By the way, in case no one explained this to you.... Algodoo is a "physics simulation" program. That means you are supposed to create scenes that move, bounce, jump, and those sorts of things. If you use it without running it, it's like buying a car and never starting the engine. *facepalm*
No, MyNameIsGregory, it's not doing that "for no reason". There is always a reason why things act the way they do. You simply do not understand it, but I assure you, it is not "for no reason".
The Linkage is correct, and THAT, young man, is the reason why the chain is doing what you are complaining about.
You make these nonsense type of scenes that do strange things and then you ask people why they are doing strange things. Why don't you make something "normal" like a car or boat or plane, etc.
Your scenes act strangely because of the strange things that you do to them such as you stick a large number of axles on boxes. Doing that makes no sense at all. It's no wonder they act in a crazy manner!
FranzAlbraham - Okay, I unbanned "VotingCreator", so you should be back in business!
In most cases when I find two or more usernames that have the same IP address, it is one person who registered two or more user accounts. But in your case, you sound like an honest person, and I believe you when you tell me that two different people use the same computer.
I did not ban "SeaSensor" and so she should still be able to post new scenes and comments. Please let me know if that's not the case. You can continue to contact me through comments in this scene or in any of my other scenes.
She had 20 accounts? Holy cow! Yes, that would be just a tad excessive!
The problem is, when users have more than one account, they will sometimes "cheat" the rating system by giving their own scenes high ratings which causes their scenes to be placed on the "highlighted" or popular list which unfairly gives them a high ranking and their scenes will get displayed more often in the Popular list of scenes. It also gives them an unfair advantage when they are engaged in contests and other forms of competition. That's why we frown against people having more than one user account.
It's difficult for us to determine which users are cheating the system, and which ones simply are sharing the same computer with another friend or relative. We just do the best we can, and sometimes we make mistakes, like in your case. And so we have the option to correct those mistakes like I did with you.
I never heard of pocoyo, and so I wouldn't know if the face is weird or not. My kids are grown ups, and so I never have to watch kid's shows any longer like I did when they were young!
Actually, you did very well on this scene! It's a lot better than most of the marble camp scenes that Algobox is flooded with because those camp scenes don't do anything at all. They are just cartoon stick men posing. There are many kids here who post really low quality scenes who are twice your age, and your scene is so much better than theirs! Your scenes will get much better in time as you learn more tricks and techniques. Keep it up!
I concur about Algodoo crashing when forces are shown, but I have no idea why that happens. I was not able to find any references to that issue in the user forum. My guess is that it's caused by a software bug which will probably never get fixed, and so we will just have to live with it or figure out a work-around.
It does produce water now, but it produces too much too fast which causes Algodoo to lag and crash. The scene needs some work so that it doesn't cause lag and crash!
