I recommend Space Engine, a fancy version is available on steam, or you can get the free version if you're a po'boy like me. If you do get it, check out the planet RS 8474-1792-7 1075489-590 3, or as I've named it, "Alle". It's a tidally locked planet that I'm basing a Sci-Fi novel on!
JakubKubo - I haven't scene that seen, the title was a reference to a memed quote from Gordon Ramsay, along the lines of "Finally, some good (darn) food"
Btw Xray, I have yet another coding trouble in one of my scenes for which there seems to be no easy to find sources. If I wanted a spring or axle's script to read from one of the geometries it is attached to, what term would I use? none of these seem to work:
(scene.entityByGeomID((readable(entity)).geom)),
(scene.entityByGeomID((readable(entity)).geom0)),
(scene.entityByGeomID((readable(entity)).geom1)),
(scene.entityByGeomID((readable(entity)).geom2))
thanks again!
Wow, that was fast! Thanks! But what about an axle? It seems to be a single object, unlike the spring! How does the axle tell the difference between the two objects it's attached to?
I tried to code a thing that calculates the value of a gold block based on its area, however I soon discovered that area doesn't update after the gold block is created; scaling it would not change the area value.it makes me wonder, if mass is calculated by density * area, do masses or densities become inconsistent in the same way?
I mean, it is interesting when you had never seen a stone before! In-order list systems on user and post sites like Algodoo and Roblox can make discovering history really easy!
