Wow! If is amazing that you did that all without textures! Well done! 9/10 for lag though :)
I'll include a link to my tutorial:)
That's one awesome mouse-follower! I suggest that you use mouse-click-triggered hinges for the claw (see http://www.algodoo.com/fo … amp;t=3493 for a tutorial). Again, that is one very nifty mouse-following crane!:)
@lol19
I'll upload a Phun version immediately. I don't know why it doesn't work in Phun; the problem is probably polygon rendering differences. Again, I apologize for the inconveniences. Here is the link for the Phun version http://www.algodoo.com/al … p?id=51258

Just wondering, but why post something everyone who has algodooo has access to? :s
Just a note- vel=e.normal * velocity does work in Phun 5.28, I think.
@alexpally2- Do you have phun, or algodoo? Lasers simply do not appear in phun, leading to a result similar to that you described.
@Hellaboy- Probably for posting scenes like this...
Awesome!! Can't wait for the next version! Also one of yoour only scenes that doesn't lag on my PC! _o_ _o_
One suggestion: add 'checkpoint's so that we don't have to pause and unpause to save our position and score. Would help me a lot...
Wow, 48 downloads and 12 comments is less than 3 hours... that has GOT to be a record!

The cake is a lie. :)
It's a great technology, but I don't see how it's better than springs/hinges.
:bonk: Brilliant! _o_ Can't wait until the final version!!

My Suggestions:
Mouse-controlled? :)
Is this plane really capable of climbing straight up? Oh, wait, its RC :)
Add some limiters on tail-thruster angle-- currently, you can change it to angles that make that plane do things it shouldn't...
When you set it to 100 axis:)
*comment-bump*

Am I the only one who noticed that the mass of the gray circle at the center of the 4-toothed gear was pi? 3.1415926535... :)
Awesome!! +inf/10!!
This is the kind of scene that glues me to my PC for several days/months
And I can't compete with it either...
I should totally make a suspension based off this...
Well done, SE!!
You have taken it up to 1.3.0 :o
Thanks :)

A textured background is possible. Unfortunately, if you uploaded a scene with this background, no-one else would be able to see it, because it is computer specific.
I have reported it myself. Don't copy scenes.:grr:
Also did seventeen people seriously download this?
Don't let it happen again.
No, I'm not feeling particularly charitable at the moment. :)

What's even more fun is when you drop a circle onto the spinning one.
The Algodoo blender-coming soon to a PC near you...
Pretty good, although I would recommend soft tires :)
Wait... so it moves by spawning hinges? Could've sworn I had an idea like that, but I am incapable of implementing it....

Awesome scene!! 11/10! :)

That thruster is brilliant!! Thanks for adding it!!
@ Raydeg- That is probably part of the mouse-following code, not the thruster.
That's a pretty good tutorial! Well done!

Shouldn't the wheel-wells be darker than the surrounding paneling though?
You should make a Doble steam car with chassis No. 20. Best car ever.
Nice scene, by the way, shading is particularly good!

Here's a link to an article on the Doble
The car in the picture has the chassis No. 20. For some reason, I can't find many pictures, but search google for"doble steam powered car f" and you should find some pictures of these types of cars.

I downloaded it myself, but the fuel worked
so I re-uploaded it with a few edits... does it work now?

Great scene! Well done!!
I think otherwise. No spawn scripting is allowed in the contest.
