Glad you guys like it!
_o_ _o_ _o_ Excellent work! I see a few minor things that can be improved, but overall it's a great piece of programming! _o_ _o_ _o_
They actually are quite safe. Just don't eat the radioactive material! LOL
All kidding asside, you can buy one of these from United Nuclear (the company owned by the famous Area-51 scientist, Bob Lazar). You can also find them on Ebay and other sites. The radioactivity in a spinthariscope is << the radiation from a smoke detector (which is typically <1uC)

That's a different kind of radiation. The hv diode in old TV's often emitted "soft" X-rays, but the spinthariscope emits mostly Alpha and Beta particles from the result of radioactive material (typically Americium-241). It's all ionizing (bad) radiation, just different flavors. ;)

EDIT - There is usually ZERO detectable radiation outside the walls of the spinthariscope because alpha and beta particles cannot penetrate the plastic housing. They truely are very safe. That's why they can be handled by children under adult supervision.

Хорошая работа!
_o_ Your 3D scenes are awesome! _o_
Then don't title your scene "WTF moving plane?"! You make everyone beleive that you have trouble with the plane moving, and nothing to do with the bouncing ball. So, try to be more clear when you ask for help. Okay?

Anyhow, the ball is not "bouncing". It momentarilly becomes separated from the plane due to inertia. It's not a bug or anything wrong with your scene. You are simply mis-interpreting what's happening.

Interesting cams, pushrods, and valves. Nicely done!
Nice job! I worked with many different types of absolute and incremental linear and rotary encoders during the years while working for industrial equipment manufacturing companies. I enjoyed that work very much.:)
I thought about making a display of the result, but I decided that it wasn't neccessary because the user only needs to look at the balls to see the result. But I will work on it anyways because I like the challenge! I will have a display within a day or two.

Thanks!
Kilinich - I added a display of the picked balls, and named the scene POWERBALL LOTTERY MACHINES V2.

s_noonan - I agree with you about lotteries unfairly sucking money from people who can least afford to gamble. But I did not create these scenes with the intention that people will actually use them for gambling. I created the scenes for the technical and artistic challenges. There are many other scenes on Algobox that I am totally opposed to, such as the scenes that depict the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings, and the destruction of the statue of Jesus Christ. I expressed my opinion in the comments section of those scenes that I disagree with, and ended up in a heated argument with the author, only to get my comments deleted. I took that as a passive warning, and I vowed never again to express my opinions about the appropriateness of certain scenes. I will leave that up to the website moderators. And, no, I do not want people to send me money that they saved by not playing the real lottery. (I of course knew you were kidding, but I felt I needed to say this to remove any potential doubt).

Thanks for your comments, as I highly regard your opinion and your suggestions.
Thanks! :)
This is actually quite accurate! I changed the value of the mass to different values within the range limits of the device, and it worked very well for each measurement. Good job!
I was not able to open it either. Maybe change it so that you can use the arrow keys for entering the combination instead of the grab tool.
Yes, I did press the bolt down 2 or 3 times. Sometimes I pressed too hard and broke the mechanism and had to restart the scene! Then I very carefully entered the combination as shown in the scene, but was unsuccessful in opening the bolt. I then tried attaching springs to the direction pad so that I could use the arrow keys to enter the combination more carefully, and I still was not able to open it. Sorry...

Because you designed it, you know exactly how to move the direction pad and how hard you can push on it, but for everyone else, it's quite challengeing!

By the way, I LOVE your Zippo Lighter! That's the most amazing FLAME I've seen on Algobox!!! I wanted to comment on it and rate it, but comments and ratings were disabled on the scene.

Nice game! Very challenging and fun!
Hmmmm.... That makes sense. I thought it was a bug. I learn something new every day! Thanks, Emil

Did you get that, faytree?
phz2dMAX - The Soccer players should be moving too. I use the latest version of Algodoo (2.0.2b15) if that has anything to do with it.

Does anyone else have the same problem as phz2dMAX? Please comment.
Flight characteristics are realistic (I have a real pilot license, so I know how airplanes are supposed to fly!). Nice job. Very challenging!

Suggestion: Add sim time clock to scene.
Also, maybe show G-force.

This is the most amazing and realistic flame I've seen among all other scenes on Algobox that have flames! It is so freaking life-like. I rate it 10 plus plus plus!
_o_ Love the liquifying beam! AWESOME game!!! _o_
Nice feedback control system.
I was able to push and pull on the sliding weight in your meter stick III, and it would simply correct itself back to the balance point (nice!), but when I grab the swinging weight in this scene, the entire scene goes into chaotic convultions. Nice job on all of your meter sticks, but my favorite is number III!
There are 26 letters..... Much more challenging than 1 - 9! Anyhow, 5/10 is a great score for someone who doesn't know their keyboard! Did you cheat by reducing gravity?
mold999 said - "believe it is called a "cycloid" curve."

You probably meant "epicycle". I made a scene a few weeks ago that demonstrates the epicycle motion: http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details.php?id=66948

You could see this demonstrated in real life by placing a small light on the rim of a bicycle wheel, and stand off to one side as the rider goes by you (at night of course).

Edit - "cycloid" is correct. I looked it up on Wikipedia! :bonk:

I put a quarter into the machine, but when I tried to turn the handle, it just pulled right off the machine! :o
The motor and generator turn only while holding the S key. Is it supposed to keep running? :s
