Okay, Jimmy. Since you know so much about how to do it, why don't you go ahead and DO IT!
I am an American. Welcome to Algobox!
Hi Loic.... Welcome to Algobox! :)
No script needed. Just select the geometry that you want to spawn (in this case, the gray polygon), then, with it selected (highlighted) press Ctrl-C (copy). Then go into the yellow polygon script menu and press Ctrl-V (paste) into the onClick script area between the two curly brackets. Now you should see all the parameters of the gray polygon. Delete anything having to do with ID (Such as entityId and geomId). When you start Algodoo and click in the yellow polygon, it will spawn another gray polygon in the exact same location as the original one. If you want it to spawn in a different location, then you need to set "pos =" to the X/Y location that you desire.

Hope this works for you!

EDIT: I posted my reply the same time The Linkage posted his! LOL

You are welcome! :)
That is not what ElectricalMonkey wanted. Your simple script spawns a gray box which is not the same thing as a polygon. He wants a specific shape and size of polygon.
I think the steering is backwards when driving in reverse. When I press the right arrow key, the car steers as if the wheels are turning to the left. And the opposite is true for the left arrow key.
Hey Crytek.... Welcome back to Algobox! :)
s_noonan - I think what I am experiencing is caused by the wheels having poor traction with the "road". I confirmed that by moving the car body to the back so that I could view the behavior of the wheels. They appear to be slipping as if driving on ice, when I try to steer while moving in reverse. My real-world truck and RV trailer do not behave in that manner.

Objectfans - What are you talking about? Do you have more than one account here on Algobox?
No problem! :)
It's much better now, but it's still very difficult to steer the trailer in reverse. Part of the reason is because the distance from the hitch ball (pivot point) to the trailer axle is relatively short. That makes turning in reverse very sensitive to small changes in the steering arc of the tow vehicle. You can reduce the steering sensitivity by increasing the tongue length between the hitch ball and the trailer axle. I tried that myself and it made steering in reverse much easier. Just a suggestion.
This scene has a few problems. One is the paintbrush will not move past the edge of the white paper. There is a collision layer issue that will not allow the brush to paint in the middle of the paper. Another problem is the paintbrush paints on EVERYTHING in the scene that it touches, even the instructions and the paint holders! It should only be allowed to paint on the paper and nothing else.

This is a cool scene but it has just a few problem which I'm sure can be easily fixed.

I prefer true circles over circular polygons because you can easily change the size by adjusting the radius. :*)
Here's a little trick that I learned a long time ago which really helps backing a trailer. Rather than steer the tow vehicle by holding the top of the steering wheel as you normally would when towing forward, grab the steering wheel at the bottom (6 O'clock position) and "push" the bottom of the steering wheel in the direction that you want the trailer to go. For example, if you want the back of the trailer to turn to the right, just push the bottom of the steering wheel to the right! It may take a little getting used to, but after steering like that a few times, it becomes perfectly natural. Now I can back a trailer like a pro!
Jimmyfisherman - I deleted the comment that you reported.
I removed his tag and his rating.
Some people are just too lazy to make their own scenes, and instead, they find fault with other people's scenes. How sad that is... :(
faytree - I thought you made your own contest a few weeks ago. You should make another one!
Hey, this is pretty cool! I didn't realize anything moved until I started randomly pressing buttons. This could be the start of a cool 3D game!
I thought you did. But if not, then I must be thinking of someone else. Anyway, some of your scenes are pretty good, and I'm sure that you could make a good contest if you wanted to take the time to do it! :)
Similar scene done in 2009: Rutherford Scattering

Yes, excellent!
What is it supposed to do? When I start Algodoo, nothing happens!
Mobuilds - First off, please stop trying to fool me as if you are a different person. I know that you are the same person as buildman. He is not your friend (as you claimed in some other comment) and he is not your brother (as you now claim here in this comment). So, please fess up that you are the same person.

Secondly, it has NOTHING to do with the Algodoo forum. When I send you a warning message it goes directly to your Algobox account (not the forum) and you will see "New Messages" at the top of the page which you click on to see the messages. A warning message will also be sent to your Email address. But if you registered with a bogus Email address, like many people do, then you will not, of course, get the message in your Email.

Concerning your buildman account, can you log in to the Algodoo forum so that I could send you a PM (Personal Message)? If you can, then we can discuss about your buildman account. Let me know here as a new comment.

Looks interesting, but I cannot figure out how to use it to make gears. Could you provide some instructions?
The forum requires a separate log-in from Algobox, and they are handled differently even though they are both on the same website. I believe you can use the same username and password as you use on Algobox, but it requires a separate registration. So, even though you are registered on Algobox, you would still need to register on the forum. Once you are registered on the forum, then you would be able to send and receive PM's (Personal Messages). The forum does not require a fast computer. So, if you can log-in to Algobox, then you should be able to log-in to the forum. Once you are registered in the forum, let me know what username that you selected (NOT your password). When you tell me your username on the forum, then I will send you a PM and I will explain some things that would not be good to show in this comment section that everyone else can read.
Thanks!
This will be very handy for people who need to make custom internal gears. Good job!
MoBuilds - I have been in the hospital for ten days and was not able to be active on Algobox during that time. Now I am back. Are you still having trouble registering on the forum?
