Good job! I knew that this challenge would be a piece of cake for you.
I already knew what needed to be done because I ran into this problem in my CNC Plotter scene. My method of calculating the step rate of each axis was a little more complex than the way you did it (simpler is better), but the concept was basically the same.
I'll send you your prize on the 31st of next month.
Thanks s_noonan! I was getting concerned about the texture not showing up, but apparently it's only a problem for some users. I'm not going to worry about it unless a lot of people complain about it. It might have something to do with the file size and/or the lag.
Overall, nice job. That blinding flash that occurs when the bomb detonates is about as realistic as you can get it with Algodoo. I have just a couple of suggestions that might improve the scene:
1. Add some textures so that those rectangular blocks will look more like buildings, etc.
2. Even when zoomed out as far as you can, you still need to pan around in order to see more of the destruction going on. So, maybe make the scene on a smaller zoom level so that the user can see more at extreme zoom value.
No biggy. The scene is very good as it is, even if you make no changes at all.
Those Algodoo evil spirits are at it again. Time to call Ghostbusters!
Actually, no, it's not caused by evil spirits but rather that weird red bar that you put above the front tire. Its collision layer (A) is interfering with the collision layer of the car body causing it to oscillate. Those oscillations are making the tires rotate. That's all!
If you delete the right end piece, then extend the length of the upper and lower horizontal bars (extend to the right only), the device becomes a cannon!
Except for maybe using it as a tool for teaching Boolean logic, what else can this scene be used for? Were you planning on showing one or two examples of how these logic gates can be used in a scene?
Thelazerman12 - Yes, it was YOUR account and I banned you because you seem to use profanity quite a lot on this website, which is against the rules. It seems every time I ban you, you open a new account and here you are again! Do you think you can restrain yourself from using profanity? If so, I'll let this new account stay, but you can only have ONE active account at a time. So, if you have any other accounts here on Algobox, do not use them. Okay?
Lighter - It depends on your type of computer and browser. If you do not see the rating bar which allows you to click on a rating between 1 and 10, then no, you cannot rate scenes.
Wow, this target game is very challenging! When I first tried it, the target was so far off the mark that I thought that it had a bug and wasn't working. I soon realized that you have to keep your hand real steady so that the bulls eye doesn't inadvertently fly way outside of the range, which is easy to do! Nice job overall on the planning and execution!
By the way, I'm sorry I was not able to find that script that you asked me about in your PM. I thought that I had an old scene in which I had a spawned object that spawned another spawned object but I cannot find it, and I cannot remember how I did it. If I should locate it down the road, I'll certainly let you know about it, but in the mean time if you still need to know how to do it, try asking in the forum. Again, sorry...
