I noticed there is not interrupter to keep the hammer back in auto until the bolt locks. If you added one, auto mode would be much more reliable. Take a look at my Simple weapons mechanism tutorial #2 to see a demo on how this works.
Thanks, Xray. I think a few people could benefit from this information when posting scenes in the future
altugdelen,
There is usually a good reason a scene gets deleted. I'm not saying there aren't tyrants out there, but so far from what I have seen and experienced personally, there is no abuse of that power by the admins here. If your scenes are getting deleted, there must be a reason for it.
this scene is my 999th download here on Algobox, and I am baffled at the accuracy and detail put into this! by far, this is the best representation of astronomical cycles in the solar system, and it deserves far more than 10/10. Very complex, but very accurate
Easy. Water tends to disappear when it is exposed to the air too long (or when surrounded by a lot of boxes or polygons.) I will upload an example of this.
Edit: It happens when a lot of water is present. I don't know why, it just does. In your scene, it seems to be very obvious. I guess it is Algodoo's way of making water "evaporate". I tried to get a good example of this in a scene, but it does not seem to want to work for me Watching it evaporate in my attempts is like watching grass grow. So, I hope my explanation helped! It seemed to happen a lot in Phun
check out some tutorials on the forums. there are definitely ones on how to make a spring bullet, and I have a tutorial on some mechanical components a good gun should have. before you know it, you might be making semi-autos (or even full autos, or maybe even figure out a burst mechanism that you like).
Okay, now I see what may be causing the problem. I installed a gas piston to operate the system. Now it operates better, but it still needs some work. The problem is the timing mechanism
decent magazine mechanism, bad firing mechanism. Try making spring bullets. they are much better to work with with complex guns. keep working at it, and you'll get there.
Lethalsquirl, I think you underestimate yourself. This is incredibly reliable for a blow-back, open-bolt design. No jams at all, and no finesse required. this deserves a decent rating
I'm Flattered Thanks! I like the design, and the reliability is okay. Are you planning on doing any of your own guns? I have tutorial scenes and explanations for how things work, and I am sure others do as well. I would love to see some of your original ideas
