The square and all other items were made by user "Valen". I just added a central motor to make it spin.

Update: Added the motor control panel so that the motor speed can be changed by the scene player.

is very cool
Thanks
yo Xray you should make a marble race
I did make one many years ago. It was pretty bad, so I never made another one. Click on my username if you want to see all the scenes I've made since I started using Algodoo in 2012.

Here's a direct link my marble race:

oooo spinneyh
hey xray is viewer voting on scenes that are not voting scenes allowed? JA
No one has ever asked me that! I guess, as a viewer, you can vote on a scene if you want to. My question to you is, WHY would you want to do that? :s
I was only asking if it was allowed. I found a scene that uses viewer voting to eliminate a character, and it's a comic, not a voting scene.
Oh, I see. As long as the scene doesn't request votes or user opinions then viewer votes or opinions are Okay.
It's not the program. It's the site itself. And the fact that it shows a different selection of scenes in the algobox. Without registration, I just see new scenes, and with registration, the selection of scenes changes for the worse, so much so that I can't even find my own scene that I uploaded, say, a minute ago. I don't know what kind of tricky algorithm you have there, but it discriminates.
The script for the motor is very interesting
Thanks for your comment about my script. I appreciate it!

Concerning this website, I had nothing to do with how it was designed or coded. I am just a volunteer who has been the Admin (or Moderator) for Algobox since around 2014. The company "Algoryx" which is located in Sweden, owns the website and also owns the rights to Algodoo which is the app that runs on your device. Therefore, they have complete control over how Algodoo and Algobox were designed and coded. I happen to live in the U.S.A. I'm nearly 100% certain that the company would never create a product that discriminates against any of its millions of users around the globe because if ANY company were to create such a discriminatory product, I believe very few people would purchase it or use it (even if it were free like Algodoo is). I'm sure that you are experiencing some sort of malfunction which "appears" to discriminate against you. My first suggestion would be to download the latest version of Algodoo from the Algodoo website and see if the problem gets resolved. If it does not, then I would like to hand over this issue to a Customer Service engineer and let him work with you to fix it. He is very smart and he is a good communicator. If he cannot fix your problem then no one can!

By the way, I see that you have deleted all of your scenes on Algobox except for two of the latest ones. I hope that you will reconsider about permanently leaving Algobox, especially if it gets proven to you that Algodoo and Algobox are not discriminating against you! We want people to continue using this product, not running away from it!

Thanks again!

Xray
I have already installed the latest version of Algodoo 2 2 4-x64 and it did not solve the first problem, but only created two new problems, in my scene "small excavator" the cylinder mounting axes began to shift when the scene is paused, and it became difficult to select a font in the program design due to the lack of font scrolling. I had to go back to the old version. If you can, pass my question on the first problem to the specialist you wrote about. Maybe he will figure it out.
Okay, will do.

Wait.... I have one more important question for you: When you upload and download your scenes and comments, do you always use the Algodoo built-in browser, or do you use a standard Internet browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Edge?

Hey Xray..
I’ve got a weird question. There was this guy who made a realistic cool looking body of a washing machine. I oddly remember seeing it and using the scene on my laptop about 3 - 4 years ago. It was named “Whirlpool cabrio” something about those lines. Now these days, I can’t find it. Did it get taken down? And: if you do find the scene but deleted, could you atleast give me the scene download if you can? I really want to see it.
I think the scene was deleted. On one of my old accounts i added a comment saying “Can you add a basket”. When i clicked on the date (takes you to the scene) it said “The scene could not be found”
Lord may I thank. I found the scene on the way back machine. I looked at the URL. It will show the scene ID. i deleted the other parts of the comment. And, there was 2 archives. I guess the scene was deleted in 2023 - 4. Anwyays, i am soooo HAPPY!
I use the built-in Algodoo browser to download and upload scenes. I only use a standard Internet browser to download and write comments. I use Chrome, Supermium, and Cent Browser as browsers.

ivanivanovicpupcin -- That is likely what's causing your troubles! I suggest DO NOT USE THE ALGODOO BROWSER for anything! I have disliked it from the first time I used it 13 years ago! If you stick to using Chrome or other regular browser for downloading and uploading scenes, your "problem" should go away (I hope!). Just make sure to log-in to your account (you can do that while browsing any Algobox page. The log-in status shows in the upper-right corner of every Algobox page).
WasherFan5727 -- I'm glad that you found the scene you were looking for!
My problem has nothing to do with browsers. It is directly related to the site's operation, since it is the site's algorithms that decide which scenes to show in algobox to an authorized user and which not. And these algorithms are for some reason very biased.
ivanivanovicpupcin -- Okay, I'll contact my guy at Algoryx to see if he can figure out what's going on with your issue. It's obviously beyond anything that I can help you with. Sorry.
Y does it go bak and 4th
Because I made it that way.
oops wrong account

I went to the site from a test account and took screenshots, I went to the old account and took screenshots, the difference is visible to the naked eye. I can send screenshots by email, for clarity.
what happened yesterday that i could not enter algobox (it kept saying something by the lines of ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED)? i use the built-in browser because i cannot access the internet browser.
DANGA -- I wasn't able to load Algobox either. My contact person at Algoryx (the company that owns this website) is looking into it.
ivanivanovicpupcin -- Thanks for the information. My contact person at Algoryx should be contacting you if he hasn't already done so. I'm certain he will figure out what's going on with your account issue.

Thanks
