I see that you made your own "slinky" rather than to use an Algodoo spring. Why did you do that? Was it because you were not able to make an Algodoo spring act the way you wanted it to act? Just wondering...
Q: Why did you make your own Slinky instead of using an Algodoo spring?
A: Because I wanted the Slinky to have a distributed mass. I didn't think to try an Algodoo spring. I used the Compression Spring Generator in the Mechanical Toolbox to make the Slinky.
