Well, I tried to make s_noonan's Mouse Trap scene look a little more life-like, but I think I fell short of it. The mouse is a little more animated than his was, but I had a LOT of trouble getting the trap to trigger correctly. I'd be the first to admit that I'm not very good at making mechanical assemblies with Algodoo. :bonk:

Nice job. That mouse is a big improvement and I'm not sure how you did it. I don't see any motors. The only problem I see with the mechanism is that the left keeper wire falls off.

P.S.: I now see how you did it. You used the same method as the fly wings.

Yep... flies and mice have much in common.

I did have trouble keeping the keeper wire from flying off. I think I have the collision layers correct, but I'm not sure what caused the problem. Any ideas?

I don't think the keeper wire is strong enough and it passes thru the purple circle. I had glued the purple circle and keeper wire together and then hinged the purple circle to ground.
Nice job on your updated scene! _o_
Poor mouse.:(
