An SR flip-flop built from 2 NOR gates.

The logic gates are based off a design by hilarity_ensues. A flip-flop is a an electronic circuit (a bistable multivibrator) that has two stable states. In other words, it can store one bit of memory. It will "remember" which button you pressed after you have released it. For more info, go to:

Press s and r to set and reset.

If you release the button too quickly, the flip-flop may enter what`s called a "race condition." You`ll see what I mean.

To alleviate this problem, set the simulation speed to 5x. Enjoy
