I created a simple, reliable auto opening knife. Using a motor I mimicked the coil spring system found on most modern side opening autos (like Boker knives). Later I may try my hand with a leaf spring style system.

The knife has a few simple blocks to help make sure it functions correctly, the scene works well at 3x speed, for a REALLY fast opening, but 1x is fine to.
