Simple but effective I saw the film armageddon and so I did something similar: instead to put a huge bomb on every rock I launched a lot of "bombs" to the asteroids: the 90-95% are thrown away to the limit of the scene and erased by the black plane on the left while the 10-5% which are not hit by the bombs are erased by a killer box I placed in the scene I did not care about the appearence because if I could I wouldn't get more points.
