The original machine was by AutoStuff.

I added scripted components to the stabilization ring at the top of the craft. That way, the ring will always stay level without relying on inertia, so if the craft crashes into anything it won't get horribly out of sync. I also changed some of the densities of the spawned circles, to allow more control. Finally, I rounded off some of the angles in the dock to make it easier to dock the craft with the main ship (thing).

Edit: I tweaked some densities, so now it stays upright and won't turn over.

Everything else is as it was in the original scene.
