Algodoo

Hello!

Earlier today, my mom challenged me to create a certain Algodoo vehicle -- a ball that spins while keeping the center stable.
Keeping the center in place could have been achieved with a simple inertiaMult = +inf -- but I had a different idea.

So, I built a basic "gravity sensor" to detect all sorts of Gravity orientations, even around attractive objects.

I built the sphere, named it the Gumball, and moved on.


But I just had a thought.
The sensor already grabs the gravity direction and a (rough estimate) of the gravity's force -- so it would be really easy to make an antigravity system!
So I got to work and decided to go a bit further and make a scene around this gravity sensor and what you can do with this interesting vehicle.



CONTROLS:

W - Toggle antigravity
A - Reverse
D - forward
S - brake

Please keep in mind that A and D's functions will be effectively inverted while the vehicle is upside down -- the controls are relative to the vehicle itself and not the world.
If this seems disorienting, you can right click on one of the non-rotating parts of the vehicle (mainly the gray circle in the center) and set it to Follow and Track Rotation. That way, your camera will follow the ball's orientation.
