After all these years, I finally sat down and made the Control Point prop and the current line of respawning troops! Yippee! Welcome to the Control Points gamemode! After dying, troops respawn in their starting positions after 15 seconds! As for this new gamemode...

In the center of this map you'll find a Control Point. They have their own health counts, and can be damaged by any troop (even Healers!). Once their HP hits zero, the team that dealt the last blow will take control if it, turning the control point their color! Every five seconds, the team in control of the point will gain a point!

Once the point is captured, the rules shift. While the opposing team can still damage the point to steal it for themselves, the defending team can still attack the point themselves to further defend it. Since there's only two teams, all healing received from damage has a 2/3 reduction, so a five damage instance would be reduced to 5/3s. This way, the point is able to change hands often throughout a match! Healing ticks from Healers and Building Pulses heal in full, though!

(Also the Control Point listing its HP as 0 is just a result of rounding, it actually has one third of a health point. My friend who I tested this with wanted me to clarify this!)

At the top of the screen is a box that says "Playing to [number]". This determines the goal of the match! The default is 25, so the first team to hit 25 points wins. You can change what the wincon is by changing the variable "_PlayingTo" to whatever you like! It'll even update the text! If you want them to just fight endlessly though, you can just delete the box entirely!

I'll probably be making some more Control Point maps in the future. In genral, the "to-do list" with posted maps looks something like this. These will come out whenever I make them!
- More Control Point Maps
- Some maps will have two or more control points because yes that works!
- 4 team control point maps!
- The next time I make a regular Team Deathmatch map will probably be to showcase the next troop! I still have like four of these I haven't shown off yet!
- The next new gamemode I want to make is re-making the old Mothership gamemode. It only got one map in the old version, so sad!

Troops:
- Spearman: The classic melee troop with 5 health and a pointy, 2 damage spear returns, simple as ever! Just point your sharp stick at the enemy, and watch as they get melted with high damage!

- Cannoneer: The ol' fashioned ranged menace. It's more fragile than the Spearman, but it brought it's trusty cannon to the battlefield, allowing it to hit enemies from afar!

- Landmine: Watch out! This marble seems like an ordinary marble at first, but it's actually a highly-compact explosive that deals massive damage if you let it get close enough! It's best to keep your distance to disarm it when your teammates are safely far away!

- Engineer: Slinging his trusty wrench alongside him and knowledge in mechanical construction and repair, the Engineer brings with him the blueprints for a dispensable building! The building will pulse every 6 (previously 8) seconds, which can heal his team and damage enemies inside the radius! Plus, it makes a good shield, if things go awry!

- Bomber: Long gone are the days of the reskinned cannon, this time the Bomber means business! This time he brought his favorite high-power rocket launcher, and is ready to blow the opposition to smithereens! Those who underestimate "Ol' Boomstick" are in for an explosive surprise!

- Healer: "Oh no, my team is terrible at living!" you say! Fret no more! We have a dedicated doctor on the field! Sometimes buildings just won't cut it, so we enlisted our neighborhood Healers to do it instead! They're so good at healing, that they can even heal troops up to 50% more than they're built to handle! They're just that good! Even contact with their staff head will result in getting healed! Too bad they can't kill anyone though. Oh well, you take the pros and cons
