The infancy of making a field of waving grass. It's still too cpu intensive, so I'll probably go to using hinge bend instead of spring axles, but this is what I've got so far. If it gets finished, the blades will change color to simulate reflected sunlight. An invisible circle gives them a nudge to start the wave pattern, and after that the grass moves itself.

Sim frequency is set to 60Hz, scene runs @27fps on my i5 3.4Ghz Quad Core cpu, with 8Gb of 1600Mhz ram.
