I am still here, though i had not much time to get a chemistry-project develloped further, which i began with FRA32, sorry for that, but
sometimes business and family set priorities. I didnt end these
projects though, if you want, we can make a thread in the forum about it.

Also: If you want, we can do a thread in the forum with very sophisticated work, explaining also older work of great coders like noonan, you (e.g. 52854 Linkage about gradients) Kilinich (see his http://www.algodoo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11392) and others.

Its not easy to find these pearls, indeed, best if you go through the work of people with renown. The problem for new, interested coders to get into this group is not that difficult, they make themselves known by commenting here for example.

Does clicking "Default" hide any scenes? If so, is there an option that I can keep ALL the scenes on Algobox?

I'm saying this because I had "Default" selected and when I unselected it, more scenes popped up. It might just be me, though.

I have it set to hide only the Polish scenes right now.

Whatever group (or groups) that you select (highlight) will be the group(s) that will not show on the Algobox pages of scenes. If you select EVERY group, then you will see nothing at all (except an error message). If you select only the Default group, then any scenes that were uploaded and tagged as Default, will not be displayed. If you are only interested in marble races (for example) then select every group EXCEPT the marble race group.

Does this all make sense?

It would really be usefull if scenes could only be uploaded if a group is selected. Default should then be removed so that lazy children dont just pick the first best thing, and isntead a Misc. group can be added for things that dont fit in other groups. If algodoo could only be modified in a way that this was possible. Right now I have to disable both default and marbles, because there's a lot of Camp stuff in default left.

FRA32 - As far as I know, Algodoo is in its final state and will never be modified again. And that is mainly due to the fact that the lead developer (Emil Emerfeldt (sp?)) no longer works at Algoryx. So, any mods will have to be done to Algobox. Unfortunately, the employees at Algoryx who know enough about the code to maintain it, do not have the time nor the budget to make any significant changes. Most future mods will have to be only "band aid" type patches.

Everything that I just stated could change down the road, but I seriously doubt it.

I use the built-in Algodoo browser, and if there was a way (that I knew) that I could choose a category, I would. Please do not call me lazy @FRA32

@LastChance don't be childish - when did he call you lazy?

I wonder if making 3rd party mod plug-ins for Algodoo is possible?

Thanks, springhydra56, but most of the credit goes to Emanuel (an employee of Algoryx) for the work he did on the changes to the website. I just helped with some of the ideas, and I made this message scene.
