This website is a wiki, that is, it runs the same software backend as Wikipedia. This software is called Mediawiki. Read more about it here: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki. We think it is an ideal solution for a site that can benefit from community contributions, in particular for the educational content.

While most official pages on the site are locked and can only be edited by administrators, many pages are also open, including many of the pages that are translated to other languages. If you would like to see www.algodoo.com in your native language, don't hesitate to contact us at support@algodoo.com and we can help you getting started with a translation.
