Use a program such as iMovie to group all of the pictures together.

i did a quicksearch and found a shareware tool that can make a movie from jpg's and other image formats: http://www.brothersoft.com/jpgavi-17340.html

there are probably several more tools out there, some of them freeware

You're contradicting yourself.

Just use one of the programs that already have been posted. I added two:

http://www.jarrin.net/JPG_to_AVI.html
http://www.steffelsoft.de/jpg2avi/downloade.htm

I thinks he meant how to record every frame without external tools. But all the same it's a cool idea.

this is actually also the way i work when i make 3d vids (just don't upload them, i show them to friends)
first, i make a vid with the movements
then, i make a 'rendering' version of the game, and make it have those movements, and save all frames
after that, i normally used pivot to do this (took a LONG time)
but now i can just put them in :D
thnx!!

No, you need an external tool to make the actual movie. Otherwise you get a bunch of screenshots.

Again pointing out the 'record' word. A video is pretty much a bunch of images.

no it took him about 20 minutes to run the simulation. every timestep a screenshot will be taken and if you make a video out of it with 100 frames per second (because of 100Hz simulation frequency) it will look completely smooth.

Unless you have the Octa-Core Mac pro, then it is perfect.

well, more cores don't matter, because phun/algodoo isn't multicore supported

In WMM, go into Tools -> Options, then click the Advanced tab. Set picture duration to the lowest it can go, which should be 0.125. This won't be as smooth or as fast as it would be in AlgoPhun, so I would really recommend using a different program for this, that can play them at the full 30 FPS.

Hi all. Look what I've find.It is recording video from selected area of screen. It's here. There select CamStudio: CamStudio20.exe. I think it's better than making alot of screenshots and then slideshow of them.

This way of recording was thought up because screen recorders record everything, including the lag.
This way doesn't.

or we could call it lag-less recording. really, Phunimation? There's a line between creativly clever and hopelessly stupid.

My point was that this isn't a great movement. I would call phunimation making movies with phun. Plotlines, effects, camera angles. But all this is is recording without lag. :|

Sorry, I just had to point out the errors in this post. You say a video is a bunch of images, yes, you are half correct. A bunch of images can mean a lot of things, from a slide-show to a photo collection.

A video is a bunch of images changing to form a seemingly fluid animation.

An image is a still picture, only capturing a single moment of a particular scene.

It is like watching a movie, you can look at still images of the movie one by one, but if you want to get the greatest experience from it you should watch the video.

'Pretty much' means almost, nearly etc.
'Just' means exactly etc.

But arguing about that is stupid and useless, let's just continue through PM OR stop.
