Trying to join objects

Postby dovaka » Wed Nov 22, 2017 6:25 am

Iam a first time user and trying to draw out one of those which will fill first things to prove a point to a friend and I cant seem to get the objects that i drew out to combine into a single object so they leak everywhere. for some reason when i select multiple objects and choose to combine it doesnt really seem to join them but make an additional over laying piece. it seems simple enough so im not sure what im doing wrong. I included the model

Use "Glue together" or "Glue to background" to fix all of it.
Too thin tubes btw. will not work as intended.

i realized the tube width from some testing but using the scale tool fixed that part. I will give the glue option a try

I glued everything together which is keeping it all in place now but all my joints still appear to be there and still leak

really it will randomly join some pieces that are next to each other and some that arent? even when they are all the same size.

its not doing that at all. when i glue it all together it is still leaving the line between objects and water is still pouring out of it

so then to my point, the combine tool doesn't actually combine things that are next to each other all the time. it randomly combines some and not others even though they are the same size regardless of what size i make it.

It's not intended to what you want it to use. It's bad idea to create huge points count polygon.
