How about you post it with the engine and gearbox installed and then I'll build the wheels and motors and stuff around that?
Me & Pearl: we are doing it,y'know~

Why didn't you put it in the group for collabs? Oh well. I've found it flies at full throttle. I'll fix that right now

Is it necessary to add an automatic spoiler to the car?

Aerodynamics suck in Algodoo so tilting it won't help, but maybe by increasing airfrictionmult...
Also, I've just finished up with the electric motors. It's going to have 1 per wheel, so 2. They're pretty weak at the moment but I'm going to improve them (hopefully).
Also, methinks they could be used as brakes too. You basically make the motor run backwards when braking so you slow down. Kind of like a dynamic brake that trains have.

Yess... Yess...
Well, I hope that It doesn't have weak torque since most electric cars like the Tesla Model S P85D on ludicrous mode. Its torque was so strong that it could defeat the 2007 Nissan GT-R R35 ( a.k.a the most overrated car in Car Throttle )

Hmm, I'm just a bit worried if it went wrong. Well, I'm planning to make it "battery" powered which can run out of power. It can be recharged when the car slows down.

Re: Mclaren P1 collab
I made this basic cart to test the motors. It's 2 tons and they have enough starting torque that it doesn't need a gearbox. Of couurse, we won't need this much power in the actual car, because it has a 900 hp V8 to help push it along

Nice one!
I'm very impressed that it has a very strong torque.
By the way, I just woke up from my sleep
Well then, it's installing time

I'm not installing it yet. That was just the beta for the motors. I'll install collision bearings and then post it, because legacymode = 0 axles are a pain in the ass to work with

Re: Mclaren P1 collab
Well uh, the motor is outta control when I installed it into muh chassis. I need to remove the suspesion and fixate it just to make it stable
EDIT: ooh, wait! I've just figured it out !

I'm actually almost done with the updated version. I'm actually testing it with your chassis right now. I'd say it actually only needs one motor with 200 hp at the front wheel, and the spawn engine powers the rear. I think 1100hp is enough, as that's nudging small diesel locomotive territory
Also, the motor won't need a gearbox as it can spin stupidly fast.

Oh course, it'll sound stupid to hear a gearboxed electric car
Hmm, it seems like I need to remove this since your updated motors is on the way :v

Re: Mclaren P1 collab
Yup, they're here.
I used a dyno borrowed from another user (I'm working on that with him too) and it tops out at around 240 HP max at 400 RPM. It runs backward in this scene (the dyno didn't like it running the other way) so just mirror the whole motor to get it to run the right way. I think 1 at the front wheel should do it. What, 1140hp not enough?

The Dyno looks very.. advanced. 2Advanced4Me
Nice, since I've figured out what's the main reason why the motor went overpowered when I installed it into a suspended chassis, it's installing time

Kids, don't play with attraction.
On second thought... maybe a C-Engine would be a better idea.

Worry no more, pnvv! I've just made a new suspension for the motor. It's proven that it can deal with overpowered motors

le me working with the e-mode engagement system... Pearl nearly gave up with this thing but thankfully Shia Labeouf motivated her and told her not to give up. Gosh,I've never seen Pearl nearly gave up like that.

Holy crap! I checked the motor, and ye glued the whole thing hopelessly together!! Why've ye done that...
Don't worry, I think I mostly fixed it by now.
