String replace function

Hello there,
i'm trying to make a String Replace Function.
like so :
_StringReplace(Original, ToReplace, ReplaceValue);
Example :
_StringReplace("1 + 1 = 0", "+", "-");
Result :
"1 - 1 = 0"

but, it doesn't work.
