Problem with Education upgrade
I recently upgraded my Physics version to Education. I entered my Email and the license key, and the program did upgrade to Education version, but it does not stay as Education after closing the program. Each time I launch Algodoo, it reverts back to Algodoo Physics, and I have to re-enter my license key again. WHat causes this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Is your account an admin account?
I suggest to try run algodoo as an administrator to try unlock it.

I tried your suggestion, but the problem is still there.
I can unlock the program, and I get a message thanking me for purchasing the full version, but then when I close the program and reopen it, it reverts back to Algodoo Physics.

Ever used regedit?
I would suggest to delete the Algodoo Registry keys!

Yes, I have.

Should I delete ALL of them, or just certain ones?

Re: Problem with Education upgrade
Probably just any that are parts of licence info!
but, I would suggest to check both the currentuser and machine sections and remove any algodoo folders in either.
This should clear the issue of potentially trying to write to one place, but actually preferring to read from the other.

Re: Problem with Education upgrade
The strange thing is, the license key that was sent to me when I purchased the Education edition IS the correct key that's listed in the Registry! So, I don't understand why Algodoo still thinks that it's not registered each time I launch it.
I'll try what you suggested, and if that doesn't work, then I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.
thanks for your help!
IT WORKS!!!
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Beta (b15) and it automatically became unlocked because the correct unlock key was still in my Registry. Now I'm a happy Algodooer again!
