Laser meetpoint cut
Okay I didnt know any good term for this but, it could be nice if you could use two lasers, both going half way through an object, and if they cross each other (both being cutters) they will cut in that angle & shape! I'll send example later if i get support even a bit..
Edit : Example -
There you see an small red dot in the middle meaning the cutter lasers have hit each other, and it would cut out the piece they "pointed out" (on the north-east)

Re: Laser meetpoint cut
A good idea, I still think it would be awsome if we could have a laser enter in an object on one side, then somehow have the laser's path altered, then exit the object somewhere else (another side, slightly below where it entered) and still cut, it would be quite useful for complex objects
But yeah, support, I think i thought about having something like this too, btw

Cool, I'm glad this has had this much support
But for Llama, that wouldnt actually be too realistic.. if its a CUTTER, it wouldnt change direction inside a prism.. cause it CUTS its way through :/

Re: Laser meetpoint cut
one way to do this is that if a lasor doesnt go all the way thru an object, it removes a very, very, very thin peice where the laser was, then when another laser doenst the same, than the cuts intersects, a pice is but off

Yes! Support!
Recently I tried making a bullet with cutting lasers in a ring around the edge, but it wouldn't work. With this, it would!

I support this, but I don't agree with Altro about removing a very very very thin piece where the laser was. It would just cause problems. It should detect where they intersect and cut out that shape.

Re: Laser meetpoint cut
The reason you can't do this is when the laser cuts the object, the free part will fall onto the laser, cutting it, making that fall onto the laser, cutting it...
It would lag very fast.

That is what would happen with a normal cutter laser anyway, with your logic. But it doesn't, so it won't with this either.

Re: Laser meetpoint cut
i think that cutting a mini piece is better than how it works now. now if you move laser over a object it makes million uber thin laggy pieces... with the removing thing it would just cut a hole...
