Still using Phun

Postby Neoncamouflage » Sat Oct 03, 2009 5:30 pm

Alright, I know this has most likely been covered elswhere but I couldn't find anything. I downloaded Aldogoo and tried it, personally, I prefer Phun. It just looks better to me (don't ask me why) and I like it more, so it's not worth it to me to pay the $50 or so and upgrade. My problem is when I download a scene, it opens in my Aldogoo demo and not in Phun. I would much prefer to have it use Phun, and I'm worried that after my 14 hours left in my demo are up, I won't be able to download things anymore to use. Does anyone know how to get it opening things in Phun by default? Or at least where to look in Phun to find them and open them out of the Aldogoo folder? I looked but couldn't find anything.

If someone could either give some help or link to where this has been covered, that'd be great. Thanks.

Uninstalling the demo should fix it for you. Or you can set it to open it in Phun by default by right clicking the file and choosing "Open With.." By there you should be able to set it.

Btw, there is a discount for previous Phun members, but it seems you are new so :P

Yeah, downloaded Phun a month or two back, and really started getting into it in the past couple days when I discovered I could make tanks and guns and a failed bow and arrow (stupid stretchy chains...). I'll try uninstalling it, thanks.

Yeah, that did it. I still doesn't open in Phun, but I managed to figure out they were going into My Documents, so I just backtrack in the Phun scene file search till I find them. Thanks a lot, at least now it doesn't bring up Algodoo every time I try to get something.

Do the "Open With.." thing, it's much easier.

Btw.. bit offtopic but :D
Once I got algodoo.. I used Phun! I also thought phun looked better.. but now that I've used algodoo.. its far better!
I also got some kind of hitchback that I wanted to use Phun instead.. Even though I just bought Algodoo
