[SOLVED] Algodoo lost my scene UNACCEPTABLE!

ok i started up algodoo and instead of loading my previous scene, IT WAS ON THE WELCOME SCENE! PLUS ALL MY OPTIONS WERE RESET TO DEFAULT! and when i tried to load my skater scene that took SOOO long to create, IT WASNT THERE, OR ANY OF MY OTHER SCENES I HAD CREATED BEFOREHAND! so i went to the usual folder, c/program files/algodoo/scenes, THERE WAS ONLY THE PREMADE SCENES! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHATS WRONG? DOES IT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE?

Looks like you or somebody had deleted the algodoo folder in my documents, which is where your config and scenes would be saved...

I suggest you install 'recuva' and try to recover the deleted/lost files.

I use dropbox & google docs to backup files. Dropbox is really useful if you work on scenes across more than one computer. I recommend backing up all your important stuff at least once a month onto a USB drive, deleting the oldest backup when space is short.

Also Computers don't just lose things these days, there will be a plausible explaination to this and algodoo did not "Lose your files", you lost your files for not being proactive. I hope this will encourage you to backup stuff because when you lose something really, really, really, important like an essay or dissertation, it definatly isn't fun.
