Water spawner turns incompressible water off

Postby cheapie » Tue Sep 29, 2009 4:29 am

Well, when water is spawned, if incompressible water is on, it gets turned off.

Incompressible water is stored in the config file not in the scene, with out deliberately turning it off with your code it should stay incompressible.
Post the water spawning code.

Yeah that shouldn't turn off incopmpressable fluids. You must have done it.
I do stuff and break things. You know how it is.

I keep turning incompressible fluids on, but they get turned off every time that block is hit.

Delete the config file located in my documents as well.
Make sure your not turning on incompressible liquid then clicking undo.
and if all else fails uninstall and reinstall.

It's turning off incompressable fluids for me as well, definitely related to the spawner.

Maybe it's related to that single scene. Like when I imported a Phunlet into a scene and it deleted one of the fixtates on it's own. Creepy...

Loading scenes created in Phun turns off incompressible water, for compatibility reasons.

I'm having this problem as well, What is happening is I create a laser and place
Code: Select all
scene.addWater({vecs=[e.pos]})
inside the on Laser Hit part of the script menu. Everytime the laser creates water it disables incompressible liquids automatically, I can turn them back on but they just get disabled again.

I have tried removing the config.cfg files(in documents and program files) and I also uninstalled the program, deleted both of its folders(I kept my scenes though) and reinstalled it.
When I loaded up algodoo, I created a laser in the welcome scene and gave it the above command and it still disabled incompressible liquids. Also this code
Code: Select all
scene.addWater({vecs=[e.pos]}); sph.incompressible = true
Makes the water particles go nuts when they touch each other(which is actually pretty cool to watch, they hop around all over the place)

I hope this helps figure out whats wrong.

They're all spawning in the same place, but the whole point of incompressible water is to not let them be in the same place?
