Very interesting, so that is what "bend variables" do, really very interesting.
Well what to do now ? Robotic hands ? ;)

too bad it can't work as torsion suspension - too much jitter/oscillations

Yes, I actually found this out quite a while ago. Well before Kilinich posted this topic.

Hmm... one could make stepper motors out of this...

I also found that "traditional" hinge motors/brakes kill the bend param. That is,
{motor = true && bend = true} == {motor = true && bend = false}.
Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.
I love my brain...

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.

You could use this to simulate snapping plastic...

Radians is more common, so everything fine. If you want degrees - just use function
scene.my.rad := (deg) => {math.pi * deg /180};

wtf i didn't recognize the new variables :wtf: it's a neat feature if you want to aim at angles because there's no more need of a sensor that's detecting the actual angle. awesome!

This feature will be insanely useful.
As seen in the scene below it can handle 38 independently moving legs(2 hinges each), so there's much less lag aswell.
