Algodoo Updates Not Working?

I bought Algodoo and currently have version 1.7.1 and for some reason, i am unable to update any higher.
I know there are better versions out, but for some reason it won't automatically update.

Does anybody know why? Or where i could get the new versions

Using Windows XP if that helps.

Hello Jrone and welcome to the forums!

You can download the Algodoo 1.8.5 demo here. After installing, you will have to unlock it (see here) to turn it into the full version.

Algodoo isnt able to automatically update itself... Algodoo just alerts the user there is an update...

and ivan is correct, download the demo, and activate it (file --> unlock algodoo)

all details needed will be on your invoice (receipt sent to your email)
