The toolbars can be shortened, but the tools i want dissapear FIRST, and the ones i DON'T want, heh, don't! I think it is possible without any editing to the program by The Creators, but i guess it would not be easily accessed. So if it did become an option, it would be cool, but if it didn't, and if there is a hidden solution, I would like to know

First of all, this would require reinstatement of Expandables.
Then, perhaps, widgets.toolBar.expandOrder = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] would mean that the first menu item would be the first to expand (and so the last to disappear, aside from the selected tool, in this case, also the sketch tool), the second item would be the second to appear, and so on.
This might also bring a parallel option, called widgets.toolBar.expandState = -1. In this case, it would contract the toolbar all the way, so nothing would be showing.
I use -1 because 0 would show only the button corresponding to expandOrder(0), which would, for the toolbar, be the Select tool in 1.8.5. 1.9 would, of course, show two tools.
We might also get expandMin and expandMax parameters, which deal with when you click the plus or minus buttons. Clicking the plus or minus button would set the appropriate expandState to the appropriate expandMin or expandMax, whichever is less close.

And I suppose that widgets.controls.expandState/Order would be the same? And the numbers in widgets.*WHATEVR*.expandOrder correspond to the order in which they they appear, but from highest to lowest, and the places where the numbers are represent what tool has what order number?

Say there was a toolbar with 10 buttons in a row, numbered 0 thru 9.
widgets.numBar.expandOrder = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] would cause the leftmost button- the zero- to appear first when the menu is expanded.
widgets.numBar.expandOrder = [9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0] would cause the 0 to disappear first and the 9 would disappear last. So, the buttons would slide off the left end as you contract the toolbar.

I will now redefine expandState.

widgets.numBar.expandState = 5 would show 5 buttons. In the second case of expandOrder above, this would show the 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 buttons.

Now, for example if I set expandOrder to the first one above, expandState to 10, expandMin to 4 and expandMax to 8.

Clicking the minus button would set expandState to expandMin (because expandMax is closer to the previous expandState than expandMin is), which is 4, showing the 0, 1, 2, and 3 buttons. This would also change the minus button into the plus button.

Clicking the plus button would set expandState to expandMax, which is 8. This would show the 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 buttons.

but, i tried editing the main tool bar, the one the creation tools, but... now im confused it didnt work, also the one selected doesnt go, no matter what it is. is there an option to turn off hints, the hints that you get when you mouse ove something, it stops me from doing anything.

The above posts of mine are suggestions. So far as I know, they are not yet implemented.

So you want to be able to disable tooltips and allow the selected tool to disappear with the rest of them?

The former, I believe, is already implemented,
the latter could be accomplished by widgets.toolBar.forceShowSelectedTool. True keeps current behavior, false allows selected tool to be hidden, as if it wasn't selected.
