Acidental discovery: Fire and Smoke !

Well, while I was making my Tesla Death Ray, I accidentally discovered that spawning circle gradients in a way that many of them overlap themselves, it creates a fantastically good ilusion of smoke, furthermore I managed to add a bit more of color changing and here is the result:

I may work a bit more on this concept so that I make the properties of the smoke and the fire controlable by the geom menu.

But still, very nice when i was making my dry fuel, i was trying around this, but it became too laggy, so i gave it up

Your fire and smoke is very interesting.
Would it be possible to apply a single texture and have it fade? ( or spawn circles utilizing 3 or 4 textures randomly? )

Well your ideas are interesting but now I am kinda of lazy and I am trying to get inspiration for another thing..

For my version, I simply used Kilinich's radial white-to-transparent texture, fading from black and somewhat transparent to black and fully transparent. I also modified your code (didn't work for me somehow- no textures) to do this and the result looked amazing!

Also, I think it might help if you placed a box in the scene with the texture in question already on it, meaning Light.png- this way, Algodoo/Algobox would know to place this texture in the PHZ. Maybe.

Sure Your improvements seem to be very nice and will place the texture in a box . I had the idea to do this but somehow I forgot it.
