1.9.8 eraser tool and selected geom
Again -if I select geom I want eraser affect only selection and don't touch anything else but it's not -)
If you start erasing with "shift" outside group of geom with only one of it selected - it works fine - cut only single one.
But if you start on the unselected one - it will erase underlying geom until you touch selected and then switch to selected geom (and don't eat unselected anymore) %-)

Re: 1.9.7 eraser tool and selected geom
This is intentional. I don't want the situation where the user has a selected object somewhere and is desperately trying to use the eraser on another object.
The way around this is to make sure that the selected object is the first one to be touched by the eraser tool.

Umm... no, even if it's intentional (which I dislike very much) it's not working like it should.
I'll make a video and maybe you'll change your mind

maybe, if start point (point of first click) is within a certain distance of selected object, it should only do that.
if not, it should do first object it touches?

I think Kilinich thinks that when you hit a selected geom, it should "un-cut" anything it cut on an un-selected geom.
According to Emil, it is working properly. But it could be improved.

Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.
