[1.9.7 b] 3-part springs, what's the point?

I just don't see the point of separating the spring into 3 parts. Change it back to just 1 part I say.

It is easyer to modify the springs position, especially if you misplaced one end

The end points of springs can also be snapped together, which is useful if you want all springs to originate from the same point. The point can also be moved and all springs will follow since they share the same end point.
Try dragging two springs from the two ends of a box into the same end point. A simple hammock!

The other point is electric wires.

Ah, but (at least in 1.9.5, not tested with 1.9.7) this makes springs simply vanish in versions earlier than 1.9.
Seems to be because 1.9 saves a spring in the phn as three parts (lineEndPoint, lineEndPoint, spring), while 1.8 just uses one part- the spring.

Thus, I suggest translating lineEndPoints on and off during saving and loading of the phn.

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.

There are many things in the new version that won't work in older versions. We do our best at providing backwards compatibility (that old scenes work in new version), but forwards compatibility (new scenes working in old versions) is not at all a priority - it is far more work than it's worth and impedes progress.
