1.9.7 liquify problems

Postby monstertje3 » Tue Jun 28, 2011 4:03 pm

I have some problems with liquifiing, when i select lots of boxes (70+ or so) a few just remain a solid

1. Create new scene
2. Create a 0.25x0.50 box
3. Duplicate to a nice tower of 128 boxes
4. Select all + liquify
5. A few blocks remain solid

(not related to the config, just resetted mine (i loaded an old scene wich gave me crappy water :!: ))

EDIT: with 0.25x0.50 boxes, the limit is liquifiyng 125 boxes
EDIT2: 33 boxes get liquified of the size 0.5x1
EDIT3: (2000 particles)
EDIT4: a big box just places air between the particles

This is due to a limit on how much water can be created with one liquify. Water is one of the most CPU intensive features of Algodoo, and creating extreme amounts of water in a single instance will most likely pull Algodoo to a complete halt.
