1.9.5 collision fail

i have some problems with the collisions, the objects are just going through each other, while they have the same collision group!?
I attached a scene, where the blue hinge slightly pushes the big red one, but then move through it, until it repeats itself again. :crazy:

is this intentional, this behavior?

its a known bug in the colision system...

Hevy objects will try to drop through others

Fast traveling objects will travel through Others (sim.frequency related?)

The gears are all just 2.0kg/m2, so i don't get it, no heavy object, or abnormal simfrequency :crazy:

it can also be affected by size.

Small size geometrys are easially penetrated.

And gears are made using polygons which dont always have an accurate collision map...

An alternative to gears is c-gears. They are more reliable and efficiant.

Try the c-gear generator by kilinich (gears are by condrummer)
