[Fixed][1.9.4] Can't create new chains !

I can't create new chains ! When you create a box with two hinges, you have the button "Use as chain", but it doesn't work for me, it uses the two basics chains... That's annoying.

Yeah use as chain doesn't work anymore. There's another way to make custom chains but I don't know what it is.

By the way, I think that I know the other way to make a custom chain, but it's annoying.

I cant create straight lines with the grid on (holding shift), but when i move a little bit it gets created.

I think the other way to make a custom chain has to do with the Chains folder the I think is is My Documents\Algodoo.

Maybe that's it, but I got another way.

You create your segment of chain, with a hinge. Then, duplicate it and attach the second segment hinge to the first segment. Then, copy the two segments; and paste and attach to the two firsts. Then copy the four segments, and so on. Annoying, but the interest here is that you can build a segment with many hinges on because you select only which hinge you want to attach with other segments.

Oh, that button was suppose to be remove since we are working on a new button that works with the new type of chains, but it is not debugged enough yet. You can still create a new chain by adding a .phn and a .png file in the chains directory, just look in chain.phn and rope.phn to see how it is done.

i placed a .phn in the chains folder (both documents and install folder), but it doesn't show up ingame (forgot to say that in my previous comment)

Have you tried restarting Algodoo?

figured out that the phunlets are saved as phz, and if the chain only reads phn... (how to save as phn?? )

Could you try copying the chain.phn and chain.png and then change name to wire.phn and wire.png and then restart Algodoo?
