The bullets 'explode' on impact, and you can set some of the attributes of the cannon using the properties of the black box on the heli. The friction is the number of meters the 'shrapnel' will go, and the friction is the m/s/100 of the bullet. I kept the speed low for good collision detection.

I will see when I can download that and what I can then add to it.
I will also see if I can comprehend the code.

Thanks Dare! Glad you like it! I think that it will be best for cannons, as it lags insanely for me if I fire more than six or seven bullets.

Uses the equation F=-kx -bv for motor power, which makes a pretty stable mouse-follower/autopilot. The rest of it is mostly for laughs.

Or are we using Kilinich's engines?

You know, TC42, there's a seemingly much better option for mouse following than what you have there, but I can't be sure because I also have no time on my hands anymore and haven't downloaded yours yet:

Really, all it does is attract the unit to a point. Not so good for velocities or accelerations, but useful nonetheless.

Hmm, I think I will program a new one sometime that spawns eight hinges. And uses a FOR loop to spawn them.

Maybe I could also design one that actually does produce a force by spawning one box in the thruster, another some distance away, both with the initial velocity of the unit, and hinges them together. Hmm...
