Copy/Paste bug

im using Ubuntu 10.10 and Algodoo 1.8.5 and im unable to copy from algodoo into any Ubuntu program. (Other than algodoo of course.) When i copy some text from algodoo to a program such as gedit it only pastes the first character. I have tried this with other programs and have came to the same result. (it works fine in windows). Pasting into algodoo works fine. It gets really annoying as i use gedit for my thyme programming.

I am also able to confirm this.

Copying out of algodoo in ubuntu only pastes the first character.
pasting into algodoo works without any bugs.

If you need to copy/paste to see geomIDs, modify properties, or whatnot, make a box off to the side and paste into its appearance menu.

what we want to be able to do is copy text (e.g. Thyme) out of algodoo and paste it into other programs such as gedit (default text viewer in ubuntu).

Its alot easier to write large blocks into a proper text editor than in algodoo's thyme box's.

I seem to recall a suggestion somewhere about integrating a so-called proper text editor into Algodoo...

That would be awesome. For now gedit works if i could just copy and paste....
