Gradient Issues?
My algodoo always shows gradient textures like this:
In photoshop, the gradients look like normal gradients should.
What gives?

Re: Gradient Issues?
Judging by how your clouds look, I'd say this may be a problem with your graphics card.

Increase your desktop color depth from 16bit-color to 32bit-color
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Re: Gradient Issues?
It is at 32-bit.
It may, as Chronos said, be an issue with my graphics card (seeing as I recently did a system restore, or whatever it's called, I may not have the latest drivers for the card).
But if the card was messed up, wouldn't it affect all programs? 'Cause algodoo is the only one with this issue--all my other programs look fine (except Phun). Another thing is that I can't turn on shaders, but turning them on will not solve the issue, methinks.

Re: Gradient Issues?
Well I would recommend updating your graphics card drivers, and if that doesn't work, try putting the gradient on a perfect square and see if it still does it. It could be a problem with the scaling.

Re: Gradient Issues?
I think Algodoo has a built-in option for that...
*checking*
Yup. You have done something horribly wrong. Options >> Rendering >> 16 bit textures. But you already have that set to false...
I dunno.

I dunno.
Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.

Re: Gradient Issues?
It does look like you only have 16 bits color depth. Try updating your graphics drivers (www.algodoo.com/wiki/UpdateDrivers). If that does not help, check your logfile.

Re: Gradient Issues?
Hi, Emil! Good to see you online!
I definitely have 32-bit color both in algodoo (16 bit mode disabled) and on my desktop. I'm downloading the drivers right now. The card is a Radeon 9200 SE running on Win XP, if it matters. It may be old but hey, it's better than the computer I use(d) before this one...
EDIT: It's fixed now, updating the graphics drivers fixed it. Big thanks to all of you!
