Move to back menu
Wouldn't it be nice if there were a menu for an objects zDepth, similiar to the collision menu?
So instead of having 'move to back' and 'move to front' we would have Selection > Depth Layer menu > Layer 1 (front) ... Layer 10 (back). This would make complex scene building far more easy if you could see what was on which zDepth
You should be able to select multiple objects and put them between 'front' and 'back' in a controllable fashion, preferably using a menu format similar to that of the collisions menu.
I believe Dakta suggested something similar to this, only he was talking about collision layers, not z-depth layers. Here's the in-forum link http://www.algodoo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2187&p=26616&hilit=layers+menu#p26616
If you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, please say so, because my choice of words is even confusing me

Re: Move to back menu
It should be limitless not just 1-10. 1 should be back and 10 should be front. (like now)
But a zDepth slider wouldn't be bad. Support + 1

Re: Move to back menu
I would say there should be an easy way to access the zDepth of an object, that is, a menu branching off of the context menu.
As it is, when you move an object to back by shift + scroll, its zDepth becomes 0.
But, I fully support having a menu that allows you to set the zDepth to whatever you want.
This menu should tell you what the highest zDepth the scene uses, so you can be sure that you will set the zDepth to fifteen more than what the highest one is or whatever. Not likely to be useful, but...

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.
