how to take pics with extern camera

I have a extern logitech camera and if i click the camera button on algodoo menu i only see a black screen...
what should i do to get it to work?

Do you have any indication of whether or not the camera is active? (usually a light burning on the camera)

Otherwise make sure your drivers are installed properly.

If you've done that, and it still doesn't work, it's algodoo's fault.. The problem is that there isn't a thing like a standard for how webcams work, so you have to make a million exeptions for the million different webcams in the world. And algodoo just doesn't have that luxury, but instead focussed on the most used standards for the time being, and will hopefully add more support in future updates.

Yes, true. It is on the todo list to look over a list of setups with webcams that are reported to have problems.
