plotting forces
Hi there,
It would be really useful if forces could be plotted on a graph. Various energies, etc already can but plotting forces would be really useful.
regards
Scott

Re: plotting forces
I think many improvements could be made with the graphs.
I would enjoys seeing more features added.

Support+1 I don't know why this haven't already been implemented yet. Seems pretty natural that you should be able to plot forces. I don't use it much myself but in the educational point of view it would be a major improvement.

Re: plotting forces
From the education perspective plotting various forces on a graph is essential. In my Physics class my students also need to be able to calculate the area under the force-time graph and the force-displacements graph. Including a feature to estimate areas under graphs would be good too.

Manual graphing although tedious can be used. By pausing and pressing the "Pause" key Algodo will calculate for exactly one frame. Doing this you can advance at precise lengths of time (I.e 10 steps).
Otherwise in the sim info window you can see the exact sim time.

What? IS it possible to make a big scene and then calculate what's going to happen and then run it in real time?

It will calculate and run the one frame, perhaps i should have worded that a bit differently.

Re: plotting forces
When you are teaching a class you need real time plotting of forces. You don't have time to fiddle around with tedious methods. It also helps the class when you see the real time plot of various forces next to the object in question.

Yea I think there are several things that can be done to improve the graphs.
