Strange border around .png textures
I get a strange border around .png images when I import them to Algodoo, usually a black line or white line around the edges.
Algodoo:................................................................................GIMP:

Perhaps this is not the best example, but hopefully you get what I mean. Is there any way to fix this? Or reduce the effect?
I don't understand why it does this. It also happens when I import 100% white images, it gives them a black border.
If you have any ideas, it is appreciated. Help me solve this strange problem!

I bet it's not Algodoo fault but video card (and openGL) quality settings.
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Maybe it has to do with the polygons in Algodoo cutting the texture off?

No, this texture has not been cut out yet so there are no polygons anywhere near the texture.

I've noticed this too, It's better to save them in *.gif instead. Sometimes I get rid of the border that way, sometimes I don't.
Good luck

I think the problem is the background. On gimp it is white so you can't see the white bits.

Look at the other picture he posted. The background of this page isn't white. It's a grayish-blue. It's not the background color.

I mean if the white out line was on the gimp page he wouldn't be able to see it anyway making it a rather unfair comparison. It could in fact be the picture at fault not Algodoo.

Actually opening the picture in GIMP results in this style of background:

I can assure you it's not the picture. The picture is fine.
