Strings?

Postby ZAid » Sun Oct 24, 2010 8:43 pm

So yeah I just think it would be the coolest thing in the world if Algodoo had strings.
Like a piece of yarn kinda string.

I can support on this one. Making one yourself wont work. You can make a thin box and push it through. I don't want that. So yeah I could support this. A step for softbodies perhaps :)

You realize softbodies would have to be implemented first, right?

How about having an option of hinges not stretching? Why can they move in the first place? I know it doesn't fix all of the problem, but would help.

If you have a supercomputer, feel free to have them not stretch. I doubt you do, though.

Fixates don't stretch. I know what Cronos said, but I don't see why you can't just have a fixate in all but rotation. But never mind. :|

Fixates work by counting the two connected objects as one body. Their velocities and blah blah blah are the same AFAIK.
